Our Herbal Salves & Skin-Care Products section of the Midwives Connection online store displays our current products that will help you take care of your skin and muscular-skeletal needs. Note that we also include in this section our oil products that are exceptionally good for external use and treatment of the skin. You will find these same products and other oil products in our Oils section of the store, as well. In our continuing effort to make our salves more effective, we have stopped manufacturing and carrying the Anti-Itch Salve, BabySoft BodyButter, and BlackDrawing BodyButter, and we will include key ingredients of the first two in our next release of Heal-It Herbal Salve (sometime in the first quarter of 2009). We will keep you posted! |

24 Vaginal Boluses(Item #1620)Traditionally used to help relieve vaginitis, break loose cysts and tumors, draw out poisons and toxins, and draw up prolapsed uteri. For chronic problems, the boluses should be used at least three months, 5 to 6 times a week. A bolus consists of herbal powders mixed in coconut oil and shaped in the form of a suppository. It can also be made into a tea and used as a douche. Keep made up boluses in the refrigerator. NOTE: if you'd like to make up your own boluses, you can purchase the vaginal bolus powder from us. See product #1619 Vaginal Bolus Powder 8 oz. in the Powders or Supplements section of our online store. Recommended Use: Insert in the vagina prior to retiring. As the coconut oil melts, the bolus may drip, so use a pad. To clean out residue, gently douche two times a week with 2 T. apple cider vinegar, 1 t. acidophilus or ¼ cup yogurt, in 1 cup red raspberry tea or water. WARM-IT HERBAL SALVE, 2 OZ(Item #1650)Formerly known as Cayenne Heat Balm. Our family favorite! This formula contains extra herbs for respiratory infections! Cayenne heals by drawing blood to the area and increasing circulation. Recommended Use: For external use only. Use for colds, congestion, sore or stiff joints and muscles, headaches, arthritis, and to stop coughing. Will stain clothing. Cover small children wherever you put the balm to prevent them from putting their hands in it and rubbing it in their eyes. It won’t damage their eyes, but it will hurt for a while.
